Guerrilla Group Launches its Own Burger Brand

Guerrilla Burgers set to revolutionise the Bristol burger scene

Group Managing Director, Julian McLauchlan has recently appointed Executive Chef, Oliver Pollard to create a high-end range of burgers for the Guerrilla Pub chain and beyond. The burgers were launched in July from the kitchen HQ at The Sportsman in Bishopston.

The vision, according to Oliver, is to create unpretentious, high-quality food with top quality ingredients. The philosophy may be unpretentious but the range of flavours and ingredients are far from dull. Alongside the classics (with cheese, bacon etc) there is a genuinely unique offering called the Spicy Birria, inspired from a classic Mexican recipe. In the chicken range there is Oliver's favourite, The Korean, which has a sticky, gochujang BBQ sauce.

"We only use the highest quality dry aged beef for our patties, sourced from the best local butchers and buns from local artisan bakers" he says which means the best flavours.

It marks a new chapter in the journey of food at Julian's pubs and raises standards in a highly competitive environment.

They have their own unique brand and can be found at The Sportsman, The Stag & Hounds and also on Uber Eats.
